So it's been forever since I started this blog and posted on it. My intentions were good at the time but I know how I am. I'm a procrastinator big time! A lot has changed in our family since 2009 but that fact still remains the same. So I'm making another attempt at keeping track of our family's goings ons and hopefully recording some of the crazy things my kids do. Wish me luck!

Blowing out the candles on Lyndsi's cake

The most recent event was our baby Lyndsi's 1st birthday on Sunday.  I can't believe it has been a year since our sweet little girl joined our family.  She has been so much fun for all of us and I can't imagine life without her.

Ty helping her open presents.

Aunt Kerri gave her rice krispie treats along with a baby doll.  Once she saw those that was all she wanted.  And she wouldn't let anyone touch it.

She was a pretty dainty cake eater.  After taking 2 bites like this, she settled for using her cute little pointer finger to scoop the filling out of the middle.  Once the filling was gone she was done. That's my kind of girl!

Kayliana brought her camera, some lights and a backdrop and we setup a mini studio in our living room to get some pictures of Lyndsi.  Here is just one of many darling photos.  She looks so grown up and I can't believe she is walking already.

At the end of the day Matt and I were a little sad.  All our babies are growing up too fast and I don't want to forget how much fun they were when little.  I think this blog will help remind me in the years to come when I have teenagers how much I really do love my kids.  Even when they are driving me insane!
